Fargo, N.D. — I attended the Vikings vs. Eagles NFC title game on Sunday. Everything you have heard about the treatment of Vikings fans is true. The behavior of most Eagles fans was atrocious and often criminal in nature. It is well known that this is how many Eagles fans treat opposing fans, so much so that warnings were issued. The team knows it, the NFL knows it, and the police know it. Yet nothing was done to prevent it, and little to nothing was done after it happened.
Carson Wentz also knows it. Many of you are fans of Wentz. I was until Sunday. I can no longer like a player who does nothing to discourage his fans and team from acting like that. I have heard nothing from him. That’s sad considering many of his friends and family are Vikings fans.
If that’s the kind of people he is going to play for, he should at least say something and try to stop it. He did not discourage it, condemn it, or even apologize for it. Nothing. Silence. He knows it happens every single game. He was in a position to do something to prevent it, but he did nothing.
You thought he was a classy guy? Think again. Most of you in his position would have the decency and courage to do or say something. Not him. Go ahead and make excuses, but facts are facts.
Carson Wentz is a God in North Dakota, just not Philadelphia or anywhere else. North Dakota went up in flames this morning and I’m still not convinced its cooled down. Some dude from Fargo crafted a letter to the editor and sent it to the Forum. Knowing the Forum and their shitty stuff, they posted it. It got clicks. A lot of them I’m sure. People are still pissed off about the Eagles fans trashing the Vikings fans at the NFC Championship game and I’m getting sick of it all. You cannot change a fanbase. Win or lose, every fanbase is gonna handle it differently. Philly fans (not all, a man very close to me likes the Eagles andis a very good dude) were/are trash and shitty people. But then this dude from Fargo starts to blame it on North Dakota’s Golden Football God and the town and state fukn burst into flames. The guy who wrote this fuk you. Wentz isn’t gonna send a statement out to Philly fans to change their behavior or make a media appearance about it (partly because he isn’t speaking to the media since he’s been hurt). Don’t attack Wentz and certainly don’t hate it for not doing anything. He’s trying to stay away from the situation and focus on helping Foles and the Eagles win a Super Bowl. If you wanna be pissed at anyone let it be the mayor of Philly or the general manager of the Eagles. Just don’t come at Wentz. Dude’s got enough on his plate.
Also, Jeff Kolpack, Bison beat (his meat off) writer, wrote a blog about his thoughts on the Wentz letter to the editor and all I gotta say,
Carson Wentz is a God. Just not outside of North Dakota.
